Greetings to all who read this.

I would first and foremost like to extend my gratitude to those who reside here, to give my thanks to those who have helped me settle in this place. I find many things to be strange and trying to learn them in such an environment has often proved to be tricky. I see there are people here helping others and that alone gives me hope.

Are you all doing well? All things considered, anyone could be forgiven for feeling a little under the weather.

I suppose it is common courtesy to ask a question of things unknown on this thing and I will not deny that I am always curious to know such things. So, if you are comfortable then please leave a message here with a random truth about yourselves. Nothing is too vague.

There's always a first time for everything. Whether it's relearning to not slam heads into doorways and learning how to care for a flower garden, it's never too late to try something new. (Or old that's now new? Something like that.)

And speaking of learning- You're used to giants? Really? Are you guys super tall where you're from?

That's great to hear! Both to wanting to learn gardening and the heights. Always.

[ but most definitely the gardening. he's always ecstatic to hang out with someone who'll either geek out with him over flowers or be willing to weather through the geeking out. even if anudin is the latter, that makes him a pretty swell guy in his opinion. ] I won't lie- The last remarks are surprisingly what's the word? 'Insightful' is the best way to describe it if I don't want to be wordy.

'Think outside the box and doing it in a super meaningful and open way' is definite a wordier option.
[ it's not even a word! it's a phrase! ]

Oh man, there are gnomes? They're, like, characters from my favourite fairy tales while I was growing up!

It definitely sounds like you come from a super interesting world.

There are a lot of races where I'm from since I was travelling through space before getting dragged here.

I guess if I have to be specific: I'm Galateion-human. Mom was human and Dad was Galateion. He was part of this alien species that were robotic mechanoid lifeforms. Pretty huge guy.

Yeah, space! I guess the best way to explain my job is freelancer peace agent? Something like that. Ran across a lot of weird and cool things while out there and honestly wouldn't trade it for anything. It's extraordinary to be out there, as my Mom would say.

[ he has... issues with his parents, yeah, but he can admit when they're right on some things like this. ] Could I ask what you were doing or where you were before coming here? I've been trying to get a feel for what we might all have in common. Spooky kid calls aside.

[ alas, it seems daylight forgot about the other questions because he’s focused on one thing anduin said in particular— ]

The lightning? Do you mean the electricity here?

Huh, I guess that means the gnomes’ technology isn’t all that accessible for you guys?
[ which is a disappointing thought. access to technology and breakthroughs is good for everyone, in daylight’s experience and lessons. ]

[ o h. ]

Oh. Okay. That explains a lot, honestly. I can see why stuff like that might need to be limited in terms of access. [ explosives or technology prone to possible combustion? yeah— that being new is kind of a yikes.

a big yikes, really. ]
Well on the bright side, we could look at it this way: We have a lot of experience in handling our gear and tech, most of the time. I can promise no explosions won't happen when using the toaster or something.

Usually.
