Greetings.

For those I have not met, I am Sister Agatha Van Helsing. I have been mentally absent this past fortnight. Given this, I have questions for those gathered here. I have many, in fact, but will start with this:

Were you also mentally disturbed for any time this past month? If so, what do you recall? If not, what did you observe of those that were?

The gifts given appear to be the work of a child. Do any recall hearing the voice of a child before arriving here? What did it say to you?

Do any of those present have experience with the supernatural, unholy, witchcraft, or how ever else you wish to label it? I would like to arrange a meeting for us to compile and compare knowledge, if so.

Was anyone not native to this location killed during the events of the past month?

Would you care to describe the other forms of distress you experienced?

I trust they have recovered, then? Are you aware for how long they were pacified?

He recovered after several days. I kept my distance, but I'd say using a word like "pacified" to describe what I saw would be absurd.

Do describe. We will need an accurate term for what befell us.

I don't know how the hell to describe it. It wasn't that he'd been drugged or anything simple like that.

Like someone else was in control going through a life that wasn't really his own. A real creepy bastard.

That is consistent with reports of my own behavior. Like puppets on a string, controlled by a very poor playwright.

Like some brat playing with dolls. It’s not the kind of situation we can tolerate, but I don’t think there’s much we can do yet.

You probably missed out the dead in the snow since you were out of it. I’d gotten plenty of those, and they seemed to have been puppeted before they died. Don’t know if it means anything.

I had hoped that were a dream. What became of the corpses?

I don’t know. That massacre wasn’t a dream, but I couldn’t prove it wasn’t.

They disappeared suddenly and I don’t know how, but that matches. They’d shown up like that too.

It makes one wonder about how easily we may appear and vanish as well. Or what is next.

That’s a shitty idea to just put out there like that. But you’re not the only one wondering.

Someone’s got the advantage and it’s not us.

This is hardly the time for niceties. We must check in on one another to see if it is possible. And if our more cheerful neighbors notice any differences.

It’s obvious we’re done for before we even get started if we don’t all cooperate so I’ll keep an eye out.
