okay, so, the longer i'm here and the creepier this place gets, the more i feel like we need to come together and try and protect each other. maybe i'm wrong, but i don't feel like the administration or police here can help us much.

with who we're supposed to be changing all the time (that sounds crazy but i had one "family" and now i have another), and people like the elves in the christmas village being like... that, i feel like we need to know who we have and be ready just in case

i feel like a good start is knowing who we are. who we're supposed to be. so we know if something is wrong. right? okay. so me first:

i'm peter. i'm from queens. i graduated from midtown science almost a year ago. i was raised by my aunt may. i like science and skateboarding and photography. that last one isn't as alliterative, my bad. i worked as a photographer but i'm also good at repairing things, mechanical stuff.

i know this talking about yourself thing is uncomfortable. dude, it took me like an hr to think of like 4 sentences. i just think knowing we're not alone and knowing each other enough to know something might be wrong is important.

My name is Avery. I can understand several languages, both written and spoken, and can speak and understand several myself. I was something of a librarian back home, or historian, if you prefer.

I also have working knowledge of first aid, both modern and otherwise.

hi Avery. knowing a lot of languages could be really helpful, though to be honest i have yet to hear anyone speak anything but english here. it's kinda weird.
i know a little spanish but uh, just the sort you learn because highschool requires it. me llamo peter, dónde está el baño, that sort of thing.

( coincidentally he knows a bit about first aid, too, from the rare occasions he'll try to dress an injury in hopes it'll heal a bit faster. but not mentioning that particular skill for now.

no. probably not. we don't know who gave us these things or who could be watching what we're saying, so we should be careful about what we say on here.
maybe i could crack into these things at some point, but i uh, haven't found a way just yet. and looking at internals doesn't even speak toward how they're programmed or how they broadcast data

what year was it for you? sounds like a weird question when we're in 1960 now, but it seems like there's a spectrum of times that ended up here.
