You'll all want to start wearing as much wool clothing as possible.
If you go into the pond, it'll likely save your life.
You're welcome.

but i'm getting great at breaking ice from the wrong side
[He's very mad about this situation.]
no subject
[RIGHT??? That's why washing machines exist?? Maybe he got this detail wrong about humans.]
Could start carrying a pick axe, too
no subject
can you swing one of those hard enough underwater to break ice?
[Sans has no idea. He has never used a pickaxe.]
no subject
Wouldn't have to swing it, could sort of just bash it against the ice, then use it to haul yourself out
@sans since I just realized I never specified his username whoops
i'm overdue for my latest dunking anyway
they're probably mad i'm keeping all the doors open now
["They" being "whoever is responsible for this teleportation".]
lmao its ok
[This is a lie, but — it's complicated.]
You reckon it's a they?
[Genuine question, he's curious about what theories other people have.]
no subject
but someone probably started everything going
or someones
whatever
[It's a very vague theory, but Sans hasn't been thinking about it too hard.]
no subject
[Hahaha funny joke.]
But, nah, I doubt it's random. Only wish we could work out who or what's pulling the strings.
no subject
guess you could start there

@PARKOUR
( wet wool doesn't sound that much warmer than no wool at all, but honestly he's not a wool expert. )
no subject
It doesn't take on water like other textiles and keeps you warm while it's drying

anything has to be better than socks. another pro tip: wear shoes even inside, you'll be glad you did if you end up in creepy christmas town

You aren't the lad that pulled me out of the pond, are you? I'm the Brit with red hair, if that helps
[They've had two conversations and are yet to trade names.]
no subject
i'm peter. unless you want to keep it to lad that pulled you from a pond and brit with red hair, but that's a real mouthful
no subject
Peter will do. I'm Crowley, if it wasn't obvious.
[Can guarantee he's gonna forget Peter's name and call him "that lad from the pond" at some point again.]

as for my feet i got feeling back in my toes after a day or so. i have been sleeping with my shoes on, just in case, and so far so good. what about you, you managed to warm up yet?
no subject
[A VERY FUNNY JOKE.]
Glad you didn't lose any toes. I'm fine, learned enough lessons from the first time. For the best, too, I'd had no idea that hot baths were a bad idea and it would've been my solution to the problem.

@daylight, text.
[ do they have floaties in this time period? he's going to invent them if not, because he fell in one time and, frankly, that's enough times, thank you very much. ]

Don't think they'd help much with hypothermia, though. That's the problem once you're out of the water
no subject
I keep forgetting that’s a thing we have to worry about now. It’s not something I’m used to. Conventionally, at least.
no subject
And why is it that you're not used to worrying about hypothermia?
no subject
[ and he's been missing it since he got here. it'll be nice to not have to spend, like, an hour bundling himself up to avoid frostbite. ]

[His own approach to the weather tended to simply rely on the fact that he didn't want to experience extremes in temperature, and so he didn't.]
So you're like the rest of us schmucks now, then? Completely human?
[It had vaguely occurred to him that there could be others, like him and Aziraphale, but this is his first time running into someone.]
